After living in their home for two years, our clients developed a clear and confident vision of how they wanted their space to look and feel. The brief was simple but ambitious: create an open-plan kitchen and living area that would become the true heart of the home, while also updating the rest of the property to match their evolving lifestyle.
To achieve this, we began by opening up the ground floor layout, which required the installation of a structural steel beam. This key element allowed us to remove existing walls and connect the kitchen, dining, and living spaces into one light-filled, cohesive area. The result is a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for both family life and entertaining.
But the transformation didn’t stop there. The renovation extended throughout the entire home, touching every room with thoughtful updates. The dining room was refreshed to complement the open-plan feel, the formal living room was reworked for comfort and elegance, and the bedrooms were redesigned with calm, function, and storage in mind. Each bathroom was modernized with high-quality finishes and a focus on clean, timeless design.
What makes this project special is how it reflects the importance of truly living in a space before making major changes. The homeowners knew exactly what worked and what didn’t which allowed us to create a home that not only looks beautiful but works perfectly for how they live every day.
This renovation is a great example of how considered design, structural planning, and craftsmanship can come together to completely transform a home.
